

Hollie Smith is an associate at Clayborne, Loos & Sabers practicing primarily in the areas of domestic relations and civil litigation. Prior to joining Clayborne, Loos & Sabers, Hollie practiced as a trial lawyer in Nashville, Tennessee for two years focusing on family law, appellate practice and insurance defense.
Hollie was born and raised outside of Rapid City, South Dakota on her family’s cattle ranch. Hollie graduated from Augustana University in Sioux Falls where she earned a B.A. in political science with an emphasis in communications. During college, she competed as a Division II collegiate athlete on the track and field team as a pole vaulter. Upon graduation she owned a consulting firm where she recruited for various agricultural companies around the U.S. After her undergraduate studies, Hollie married her husband, Drew, who was a helicopter pilot in the Army for the Special Operations. They were then stationed in Tennessee where she received her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2017. During law school, she was a member of the Federalist Society and earned top performance awards in Advanced Legal Writing and Research. After living in Tennessee for five years, Hollie and Drew decided to move to South Dakota to be closer to family and plant their roots. Hollie is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee and South Dakota. Hollie and Drew live together with their daughter near their family’s ranch in Scenic, South Dakota.
