Erica M. Reber is an Associate Attorney with the firm, focusing on family law, criminal defense, and litigation matters. A South Dakota native, Erica brings extensive courtroom experience from her time as a Deputy State’s Attorney, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and juvenile cases for more than four years.
During her tenure as a prosecutor, Erica prepared and argued complex pretrial motions, conducted jury trials, and crafted persuasive opening, closing, and sentencing arguments. She worked closely with victims, witnesses, and law enforcement, and assisted in implementing Lincoln County’s first juvenile diversion program.
Erica earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, graduating in the top 20% of her class. While in law school, she was heavily involved in trial advocacy and alternative dispute resolution, competing nationally and serving in leadership roles. She is admitted to practice in South Dakota and is committed to providing thoughtful, dedicated advocacy to her clients. Erica and her husband now reside in Rapid City, SD with their three children.
